Carlos Ester RUBI was born on 14 December 1895, in St. Johns, Apache County, Arizona Territory. He died on 6 January 1969, in Westminister, California. He grew up in Winslow, Arizona. He had 2 sisters: Florentina Rubi Gonzales and Ventura Rubi Lattin. He had 4 brothers: Pedro Rubi, Benito Federico Rubi, Lorenzo Sebastian Rubi, and Rosendo Rubi.
Charlie married Estella Maria GRIEGO on 4 April 1918. She was born on 1 March 1901, in Los Chavez, New Mexico Territory. She died on 10 August 1988 in Tucson, Pima County, Arizona.
